Deleting your social media data

Arivaan Social lets you write a post once and publish it to accounts you connect — Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon. This page explains exactly what we store about those accounts and how to remove it.

What we store

When you connect an account, we keep only what is needed to publish on your behalf:

We do not read your feed, your followers, your messages or your comments. We do not store your platform password — we never receive one.

Option 1 — disconnect a single account

This is instant and needs no request to us.

  1. Sign in at arivaanai.com.
  2. Open Arivaan Social, then the Channels tab.
  3. Click Disconnect on the account you want removed.

The stored access token is erased immediately, and anything still queued for that account is cancelled. We can no longer reach the account at all.

Option 2 — delete everything

Deleting your Arivaan account removes all of your social media data along with it: every connected account and its tokens, every post and its publishing history, and every image and video you uploaded.

  1. Sign in at arivaanai.com.
  2. Go to your account page.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Option 3 — ask us

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm once it is done. If you cannot email from that address, tell us the connected account's handle so we can identify what to remove.

Option 4 — revoke us from the platform itself

You can also cut off our access from the platform's own settings, without involving us:

Doing this stops us publishing immediately. It does not by itself erase the copy of the token we hold, so use one of the options above as well if you want the record gone.

One thing we cannot do

How long deletion takes

Disconnecting a channel and deleting your account both take effect immediately. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 30 days before they roll off, after which no copy remains.
